Itinerary

Arrive at Calgary International Airport, transfer independently to your downtown hotel and check in for your overnight stay. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the area around the hotel. The downtown area has many restaurants and eateries, from local fare to international-inspired dishes. Overnight in Calgary.
 

Today you head into the mountains, passing through Banff on the way to Lake Louise. After checking in, you may walk the scenic Lakeshore Trail along the turquoise waters or perhaps visit the historic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise lobby for alpine views. Overnight in Lake Louise.
 

Today embark on a comprehensive sightseeing tour as you experience the natural wonders of Banff and Yoho National Parks, featuring Valley of the Ten Peaks, Spiral Tunnels, and Johnston Canyon. Highlights include a hot lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge, an onboard host, and light snacks and refreshments. Overnight in Lake Louise.
 

Transfer to the Lake Louise rail station+, board the Rocky Mountaineer, and begin your breathtaking journey through the wilds of Alberta and British Columbia into Kamloops. Today’s rail passage from Kamloops to Jasper travels farther north, traversing the arid highlands of the British Columbia interior and passing through the deep valleys of the Rockies before arriving in Jasper. After being transferred to your hotel, spend the remainder of the day exploring the local area or enjoying the amenities of your hotel. Breakfast and lunch on board Rocky Mountaineer. Today is a day of discovery on a fully guided tour of Jasper National Park’s wonderous sights, with visits to Maligne Canyon^, Medicine Lake, and a Maligne Lake Cruise^. A delicious hot lunch is included, as well as light snacks and refreshments. Returning to Jasper in the late afternoon, take some time to unwind or further explore the town. Overnight in Jasper. 
 

Travel from Jasper to Banff on a sightseeing transfer, featuring a more in-depth tour of the protected parklands and the local communities. Stops include Lake Louise, Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, Columbia Icefield, Weeping Wall, and Athabasca Falls. A highlight is admission to the Glacier Explorer and Glacier SkyWalk, along with a delicious picnic lunch. Overnight in Banff.
 

The beauty of Banff is revealed today on a tour of the townsite, its surroundings and the wildlife that call the park home. The tour includes Bow Falls, the hoodoos shaped by centuries of erosion, and Surprise Corner. The tour also features Tunnel Mountain Drive, Lake Minnewanka, and Two Jack Lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Banff.
 

After checking out of your hotel, you are transferred to Calgary International Airport in time for your flight home.
